Voici un de mes projets pour l’année 2010, a Year Of Lego.

Rien de bien exceptionnel, juste un photoblog que je voulais faire depuis quelques temps… L’idée m’a été donnée ici.

Pourquoi ? OK j’aime bien les Lego (ça me rappelle d’excellents souvenirs de cette époque ou j’étais petit…) mais surtout je trouve ces petites figurines très expressives lorsqu’elles sont bien mises en scène. J’apprécie particulièrement me servir de ce genre de photos pour mes présentations, les Legos permettent d’exprimer, de simplifier des idées et surtout de permettre aux gens de se ré-approprier ces idées autrement dit de faire une grosse partie du boulot…

Voyez plutôt un exemple d’une présentation que j’avais fait sur les médias sociaux en juin dernier. La présentation approche les 3000 vues mais surtout elle s’était retrouvée en home page de Slideshare.

For example, the fight between Ashton Kutcher (@aplusk) and CNN to get 1.000.000 followers was stupid but everybody heard about this. In United States, many people joined the micro blogging platform… Oprah’s arrival in the same way contributed to this quick growth. In the meantime, early adopters did not appreciate this and felt disapointed… yes they were less hot that they were several weeks before . So, I (I was not alone) started to see more and more people on new services like FriendFeed or Tumblr, I received several friend requests on these services… why ? Because several persons consider them as the next places to be.

However, it’s a good thing for nice tools such as FriendFeed or Tumblr. Facebook knew the same problem (but it did not get so big, indeed with now more than 200 millions users (and more than 160M active ones) and a recent translation in several indians languages), when you are not considered as fashioned, you lose some interest and some users. Facebook, Twitter, FriendFeed, Tumblr and many others are social networks. So the more the people are, the more interesting it is for everyone. The connections and the communities are easier to build and more effective.

As I said several weeks ago, I write less post but I tweet or tumblr more and more… My Internet activity is more divided now. As I consider my blog is here to aggregate this activity, you will have an automatic post per week to see all of them. Yesterday, it was a try but I realized that one per day would be too much.

So, for those who are not on Twitter (no, don’t worry, it’s not a shame but you should try or who don’t have the time to look on my notes, do not hesitate to have a look to these specific posts!

Yes I recognise that I don’t write as often as I did before… Actualy, for those who do not know, I am looking for a position in Digital Industry here in Australia. Even if I spend a lot of time on my computer, I take less time to write a post on Fluid’.

Of course, I still follow the digital and advertising news (even the French ones!) but I use more and more new tools such as Tumblr (a kind of digital Moleskine and Twitter (now I really like it). Now, I will use Fluid’ to analyse ad, strategy… a bit like I did with Skittles case yesterday.

And because it is the end of the week and because, sometimes, I think to do the same to find a job ;D, I leave you with this great spot for Pepsi, the job interview.
